Are parents and caregivers required to wear face covering when entering the clinic?
- Yes. Parents and caregivers must wear a face covering in the clinic. Signage will be posted in the clinic front door as a reminder to parents and caregivers to wear face coverings.
Can My Child Still Do Telehealth Groups?
- Yes, your child can still continue to receive services in the clinic, at home or via telehealth. Group sessions, events and special activities will still be available via telehealth.

Physical Distancing Groups Inquiry Form
How will you keep social distance while kids are in a group?
- Small groups of four (4) or less clients will be interacting together with an effort to keep them physically distant without them realizing they are apart. For example, during group talk time, snack time, and group table work there should be open seats between clients.
- The small group must keep six (6) feet of distance between other staff and clients/groups and remain in their assigned room/area for the duration of their session.
What Can I Expect When I Arrive to the Clinic?
- Physical Distancing stickers or tape will indicate where to stand to keep a six (6) foot distance while entering the clinic and waiting for your BI.
- Signs will be posted to remind you to wear a face covering.
- Staff and clients will have their temperature taken by the front desk administrator.
- Parents and caregivers will be asked to fill out and sign the pre-session screening form.
- Parents and caregivers will be asked to sign in your child to the clinic using our envoy system.
What Does a Physical Distancing Group Look Like?
- Physical distancing groups will have smaller group sizes with a maximum of four (4) clients.
- Physical distancing groups will be spaced out throughout the clinic.
- Each group will be assigned its own room or area and materials for the session.
- All group session activities will take place within the assigned room or area.
- Clients and groups will not rotate to different areas during the group or 1:1 session.
- All materials used for the group session will be gathered at the start of session and sanitized at the end of session.
- There will be no sharing materials between groups or clients.
What If My Child Already Has Clinic Sessions?
- If you’d like your child to have access to peers during their clinic based sessions, please inform your supervisor.

When will groups be resuming at ACES?
- We’ve already begun resuming groups in some of our ACES clinics. As we receive enrollment from your supervisor(s) we will continue to enroll clients for 1:1 clinic sessions or access to peers in our clinics.
- We will continue to monitor capacity to ensure we are able to effectively enforce local/state/federal guidelines.
Will the Clinic Be Open on the Weekends?
- Each clinic’s weekend hours will be extended as necessary as clients enroll for clinic sessions and as our capacity allows us to maintain social distancing guidelines.
- Contact your supervisor if you are interested in clinic 1:1 or group sessions on the weekends.
Will Sessions Be Staggered so the Lobby Doesn’t Get Overcrowded During Check-in Times?
- Yes, we will do our best to stagger session start times so that the lobby and entrance area does not become congested during check-in times. In addition, there will be visuals for clients and staff to indicate where to stand to maintain six (6) foot distance.
