Additional Health Precautions and Preventative Measures
View ACES COVID-19 Prevention, Screening, and Disease Management Procedure for full details on precautions being taken:
Employee and client(s) are conducting health screenings before every session takes place to identify potential risk:
Facilities “deep cleanings” are continuously scheduled in addition to regular guidelines outlined in the ACES site audit tool, cleaning procedures, and daily front desk checklist:
- Offer hand sanitizer to all employee and clients who enter the clinic.
- Utilize disinfecting wipes on iPads utilized to check in, door knobs, and applicable high traffic surfaces hourly.
Services In-Clinic and In-Home
All services that can be transitioned to the client home (instead of in-clinic) can be transitined into the home.
Clinic sessions are to be reserved for clients who’s families CANNOT accommodate home sessions.
Low contact and exposure precautions have been implemented in-clinics:
- Group programming events, parent trainings, and CIP events can be transitioned to the home, rather than in-clinic, and within the community.
- Any In-clinic services that are conducted in-clinic are done so in designated client spaces to limit exposure for all and practice cautious social distancing.
ACES Scehduling Department does a great job in transitioning staff and clients from in-clinic, to telehealth services, to ensure the necessary amount of hours aren’t missed.
