Welcome to ACES ABA Group Programming!

At ACES we strive to provide our clients with comprehensive services that are unique to each individual. Because of this, we have invested a great deal of time in developing and implementing group programming options which span a variety of settings, materials, interests and age groups. If you have any questions regarding ACES Group Programming, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re excited to socialize with you!

Open ACES Virtual CIP Outdoor ABA

Open ACES

Open ACES is a clinic based program for children of all ages and abilities. Come to our clinic to socialize, play, and engage in thematic curriculum that promotes learning and new experiences. Check with your funding source or supervisor to see if your child is eligible to attend clinic based programs. Parents do not need to stay, but are welcomed with a Supervisor present. Attendees should bring a snack.

Open ACES Provides a New Opportunity for Your Child to:

  • Socialize with peers
  • Generalize mastered skills
  • Be exposed to novel stimuli to keep them engaged in their ABA therapy (motivation is everything)
  • Build rapport with novel BI’s by pairing them with a fun experience at ACES
  • Get extra support from various professionals who attend Open ACES
**Please note, if your child already attends a group in the clinic on Saturdays, they will have access to the Open ACES event activities. During Open ACES, we will continue to follow all Health and Safety Standards and guidelines outlined for our other Physical Distancing Groups. If you have questions related to COVID-19 preventative measures, please refer to the Physical Distancing Groups FAQ or call ACES at (855) 223-7123 Ext 2.
Animal Adventure

Saturday January 2 - Winter Wonderland

Winter is SNOW much fun! Join us on Saturday as we transform our ACES clinic into a magical winter wonderland with themed crafts, games, and activities.

Saturday January 9 - Comfy, Cozy Pajama Day.

Who's ready for a Pajama Party?! Join us on Saturday and wear your favorite PJ's all day! During the event, we will engage in fun activities, practice how to attend sleepovers, and enjoy some games with our peers! Snuggly items are welcome to bring such as blankets, pillows, pajamas, and even snacks to share. Let's get cozy!

Saturday January 16 - Safety Saturday

Safety First! Join us Saturday as we learn some safety rules and engage in fun, educational activities. Remember, you are the key to your safety!

Monday January 18 - I have a Dream

Join us in the clinic for MLK Day! We want to inspire our clients to live their dreams and grow up to be whatever they choose! Wear a costume to represent your aspirations!! (e.g. Doctor, firefighter) OR if you're still dreaming...wear your Pajamas!

Thursday January 21 - Movie Night: Teen/Adult Showing

We are rolling out the red carpet just for you! Come join your peers at your ACES clinic as we all watch a movie together.

Do you like the element of surprise? If so, join us for Science Saturday! Science Saturday will be an opportunity for your child to engage in a variety of scientific games and activities with peers. We hope you’re ready to experiment!

Welcome to Telehealth - The New Way to ABA

Virtual CIP

Virtual CIP, Community Integration Program, is a virtual group ABA program that allows clients to access community locations and activities via Telehealth with ABA and Family support. A parent or caregiver is required to attend the event with the client.

Have you been missing your favorite family outings? Do you wish there was a way to get your mind off staying home? Well, if you haven’t already you’ll want to try out one of our Virtual Community Integration Program, C.I.P., events. From the comfort of your home, with the support of your BI or Supervisor, you can be transported to fun family venues and events that we’re all so desperately missing.

Join us along with other ACES clients and staff as we travel together to some of our favorite places. Your child will have fun “going on” rides (virtually), watching shows and tour different places with peers all across ACES offices. We work on social interactions all while seeing fun attractions. We breakout into smaller groups so that each client can focus on specific social skills. Hope you join us for the fun!

Saturday January 2 - New Year's After Party!

Our virtual New Year's After Party will allow kids to share their resolutions, learn about different New Year celebrations and foods in other cultures, sing a New Year song with their peers, and participate in several social opportunities. We look forward to seeing you! Happy New Year!

Saturday January 9 - Bears/Hibernation

Our virtual Bears/Hibernation event will allow kids to learn about different types of bears and their lifestyle during the winter. During the event, your child will have a chance to ask questions and participate in several social opportunities. We look forward to seeing you!

Saturday January 16 - Explore the Arctic

Our virtual Arctic event will allow kids to learn about different creatures at the poles and what life is like in the arctic. During the event, your child will have a chance to ask questions and participate in several social opportunities. Bring your gloves because it's going to get chilly!

Saturday January 23 - Hershey Park: “The Sweetest Place on Earth”

Our virtual Hershey Park visit will allow kids to go on virtual rides and enjoy different attractions with our peers via Zoom. This will be a sweet event that you can't resist! During the visit, your child will have a chance to ask questions and participate in several social opportunities. We look forward to seeing you on this chocolate fun-filled day!

Saturday January 30 - Full S.T.E.A.M Ahead

Our virtual S.T.E.A.M. event will integrate activities that deal with the areas of SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART, AND MATH! During the event, your child will have a chance to ask questions and participate in several social opportunities. We look forward to seeing you! Come hop on the learning train and blow off some STEAM!
Methodologies

Outdoor ABA

Outdoor ABA is a program for children of all ages and abilities to come to meet us outdoors! We will socialize, play, and engage in thematic curriculum that promotes learning and new experiences. Children must attend with a Supervisor or Behavior Interventionist and parents do not need to stay, unless required by the funding source or as deemed clinically necessary by your Supervisor. Attendees should bring a snack.

Saturday January 2 - Flashy Field Day

Hop, skip or jump over to ACES for a Flashy Field Day! After spending the week indoors at school come outside and run around with us! Show us your skills as we dash, toss and bounce through a series of obstacles and field day events. We can’t wait to get out in the fresh air and share a smile with you, friends and your family.

Saturday January 9 - Bubble Balooza

Pop on over this Saturday to Bubble Balooza!! This bubble extravaganza is one you won’t want to miss! We’ll be blowing, crafting and popping with bubbles throughout the day. Join your friends and bring the family along for a bubbly good time!

Saturday January 16 - Active ACES

From bowling to basketball, baseball to football, Active ACES will be an opportunity for your child to engage in a variety of sports games and activities with peers. We hope you’re ready to play!

Saturday January 23 - Rolling into the Weekend - Wheels day

Pedal to the metal there is no time to spare! ACES is hosting wheels day and we want you to be there! Join us for a day outside with peers and family having fun with everything with wheels! **Clients are encouraged to bring their own scooters, bicycles, ride-on cars, and anything with wheels you'd like to roll around on for this fun Saturday event! Please, also bring client safety equipment including helmets, pads, etc.

Saturday January 30 - All About Art

Do you love to paint, create, and craft? Then, this outdoor ACES event is for you. At All About Art, we'll be learning about different artists, styles, playing games, and creating art in a variety of modalities and with a variety of body parts! You may get messy, but don't let that stop you. Join us for a day of creativity!
